Becoming PA in Iowa

• Accreditation: When it comes to Iowa PA program, you need to look for schools that are accredited. You cannot practice your chosen profession and cannot take an exam if you do not graduate in an accredited school.
• Prerequisites: University of Iowa program has lots of applicants and to become a certified PA, you need to earn a college degree. You also need to meet coursework like having previous work experience in healthcare.
• Certifying exam: To become a certified PA, you need to pass physician assistant national certifying exam in the university of Iowa PA program. The exam will be administered by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. If you have a successful examination, you will become a certified PA. if you want to continue, you need to meet the education standards like maintaining certifications.
